the 5 Stages of Regifting!
While this is originally found in the Dec 08 issue of Real Simple which may cause you to question my manliness, suffice it to say that I read it in the bathroom...
Stage #1 - Denial: A set of Polynesian steak knives...is there such a thing as decorative steak knives?
Stage #2 - Anger: Seriously...what exactly goes with cold steel and floral pastel handle?
Stage #3 - Bargaining: Maybe I missed the gift receipt...or I could sell them...or donate them...or give them to Teri...
Stage #4 - Depression: It's my own fault...now I'm stuck. Giving them to someone else might diminish my relationship with Mom...labeling me as ungrateful...
Stage #5 - Acceptance: Dear Teri...I hope you enjoy these limited-edition Polynesian steak knives...
