and I didn't even know that was possible! But it is part of our bank's account protection services.
"How did we find this out?" you ask. Simple...we went appliance shopping for the kitchen! We were asked to leave the refrigerator with the sale of our house in Salina, so this put us on the slippery slope that led to this discovery. We decided to go for a full kitchen appliance upgrade...stainless refrigerator with black accents, stainless dishwasher and black microwave/convection oven overhead hood for the black stove/oven that the Salina buyers didn't want.
Well, after a quick consultation with our bank, everything was fine, and the customer service representative left me with some somber advice... She asked if the other card holder was with me...yes...did she have her card...yes...did we intend to make any other purchases today...yes...well be sure to let her make the purchases!
It seems that my card needed 24 hours to recuperate!!
Otherwise, everything is on track for closing on this coming Friday...except that there is a possibility that I might leave on Saturday for a week-long trip to Macao and Taiwan with work! Ahhhh, just like the military days...Maryanne, I hope you have fun getting the house ready and receiving the household goods shipment!
All is good otherwise!

I’m sure the tip to Sam’s really helped your poor debit card in its recovery.
You better post again soon or Kierstyn will take away your "blogger card"
Shannie, you're right! It's getting pretty serious.
