She was also really dirty and a bit smelly, but when it was all over, she was much better prepared to entertain. Even so, she was still a dog and wanted to play with Sophie (who had also gotten a bath).
So here's the story...Saturday evening Larry and I had walked out the back gate and were standing at the edge of the lake. The dogs were in the back yard and Macy decided to join us "beyond the fence." So with all of her puppy enthusiasm, she came charging toward us. Oh, did I mention it was slightly downhill all the way to the water? Seeing the edge of the lake, Macy put on the brakes, but not soon enough. So over the edge she goes and drops into belly-deep COLD water. But she was unfazed and simply stood there looking around and not letting the shock show.
Sorry no pictures of that, but it was one of the funniest things I have sen in a while.
Here you can see how well Macy and Sophie are getting along. Macy can now get up on the sofa and she loves pillows when she can beat Sophie to them. This is how we often find them when we return home.

That last picture brings new meaning to "it's a dgs life"
That's so funny! Did poor Macy have to get another bath? Oh, and we should put her in with the kids sometime while the kids are getting a bath... they would love that!
SEE YOU soon!
