The lights themselves weren't scary...just how high they had to go!
So how am I going to get up there?
Kinda scary...I'd better think about this on the ground...
Hmm...not too scary...
No...I had under estimated scary...I was gripping not just with my left arm, but with my toes as well!
See, I told you it was scary...and high!
As it turned out, we actually only used 6 boxes...about 150'...but I need to pick up a short string to finish, plus there was a spot I just couldn't get to...too scary because of the steep roof. I even had Shannon on 911 patrol with me. So It's actually about 175 feet.
Now I just have to go back to Sam's to return the other 6 boxes I didn't need...

Sounds very scary! But you did a great job! You can come to to Georgia and help Matt put ours up.
HA! While I was putting them up, I was thinking that next year Matt and Curtis would be here to help me during Thanksgiving. I'm sure that they wouldn't be too scared to do the little piece I wouldn't...and I can be on 911 patrol!
OBTW...I won't turn then on officially until Thanksgiving evening...Momma says...
Elizabeth, Micah and Benjamin will be very excited that their Grand-Daddy put those lights up just for them!
That looked REALLY too, too high, but it looks great. After you do Mat and Megan's, I know another house that is lacking right now! ! !
