Maryanne and I started out this evening to combine some mundane errands with added benefit of a free root beer float at Sonic! 
We have a Sonic just over a mile form our house, and we both anticipated going there, but the line was waaaaayyyy long. So, we went for a drive...and what should we find? Another Sonic! So we zip right in and order a Sprite for Mom to go with our two free 10 oz floats.
Yummy!
And then Mom remembers another Sonic not too far away...so began our adventure for free Sonic root beer floats.
We finished off those first two just as we pulled in to the second Sonic...perfect timing. Carhop, set up a second round!
Having stirred up my float, I took the lid off, but had to set it in the cup holder so i could help Maryanne. With that done, I picked up my float and immediately turned it upside down all over the floor, a magazine, some mail, and even a little on myself...we nearly didn't make it through that intersection because somebody was laughing so hard.
Ha stinkin' ha.
Fortunately we had a few napkins and our two dogs. It didn't take very long to that little mess cleaned up. So off we go to Sonic number 3...with the long line. Everything went off just fine as I was hiding the "empties" in our trash can.
So the final tally?
Mom: 1 and a half
Minivan: 1
Me: 3 and a half!
It was a good adventure!

I couldn't believe it when Mom told me you spilt yours. You should of remembered the rule for us girls, never take the lids off the drink until it's half empty!
Good point...I guess the "circle of life" is starting to approach the beginning for me!
OBTW - Mom says she really didn't drink all her first one, so the totals should be adjusted to 1 for her and 4 for me...I can live with that...

Who wouldn't want to live with more icrcream??? I was telling Jeremiah about icrcream this morning. I think he's excited to share some with his grand-daddy!
