This is the front of the house. The brick circle is really an island that identifies a small turn-out in front of these 3 houses. It's not a full-fledged cul-de-sac, but it does set the house back from the flow of traffic. It also shows that there is a little more room between the houses because of the pie-shaped lots.
This is the patio coming out of the breakfast nook door. It is really a very nice covered porch and is quite long. It had seats behind me, the table and chairs in front of me and a wicker chair beyond that before you get to the stairs. We think we will probably replace the two overhead lights with ceiling fans...this area has 9' ceilings.
This is the main view from the deck. We were very excited about it...especially when we learned that the lot goes down to the water and noticed that the edge of the lake/pond had a landscaping stone edge.
This is the back of the deck from the fence in the yard. You can really see the size and height of the deck and the porch for the walk-out basement. You might also notice that the end of the porch to the left of the ladies has tinted Plexiglas to help limit the wind blowing across the deck.
This photo was taken from the very back edge of the lot and shows the full back yard. The lake is just out of the picture on the right. You can also see the well head for the sprinkler system and a small concrete bench for relaxing in the evening shade.
You may have noticed that this home has had many of the things we loved about the house on Texas that we didn't get. We are confident that this is not coincidence, but God's providence!
