As you can see, it's quite a bit more than Forest Lakes, but only a bit more than we offered for the house on Texas...and we like it better...it has a lake!
But first things first...here is a view of the entry and dining room. You can see that the dining room is set off by the architectural lines on the ceiling. The living room ceiling actually goes up another 18 inches to its ceiling. So there is plenty of room for our day-to-day needs with room to expand for those "family" dinners like Thanksgiving or Christmas.
This is the living room and fireplace with built-ins and another architectural accent of the high ceilings. The door to the right is to the master suite.
In this picture, I've continued to turn to the right so you can see the windows that view out over the porch to the landscaping and lake in the back of the house. Photos in the other blogs on this house show this more clearly.
This is a view from where the hall to the laundry room and garage enters the kitchen. The main sink is in the island which is an "L" shape with a ceramic tile surface. Please forgive the wallpaper...it will be one of the first projects! You can't really see it, but the breakfast nook is actually in front of a bay window. You can begin to see the trees in the windows.
This is a photo of the bay window and sitting area in the master suite. Here you can see the trees again and the lake. I was standing in the door of the master bath room when I took this picture. No picture of the bath, but it has a double vanity with a shower and nice whirlpool tub almost as long as the one we had in Salina.
If you have any comments, we sure would appreciate them. Right now we plan to make a contract offer tomorrow evening after I get off work and can sign the papers.
Be sure to look at the next to blogs for more pictures and information.
