Animals = Humans
Meet Jasper...animal number three at our house of three people...a miniture Holland Lop.
Jasper lives in Shannon's room. He has a cage Shannon went to Tractor Supply Company to buy...I don't think she had ever seen the inside of TSC before. Any way, the cage has a nice wire floor that keeps where he sleeps clean. He even has a special little mat so that his feet don't get sore from walking on the wire all the time. Shannon has set his cage on some nice waterproof mats in front of her window. The mats are just in case the pan to catch the droppings misses anything, and we hope being in front of the window will be encouraging to Jasper.
But Jasper doesn't have to stay in the cage all the time. Shannon likes to hold and cuddle him; he even lets him run around in her run. Jasper seems to like to stay under her red ottoman.
But I don't thing he always stays under the ottoman. I saw him run out from under it...look around...
and then scurry back under it. Just in case those other two animals come into the room again.
It was really quite a fun morning. Maryanne, Shannon and I went to a local farmers' market early...at 8:00am. As we were walking around, we saw that the local 4-H was hosting a rabbit show that not only included judging, but also bunny sales. Who knew the variety of rabbits! And the rest is...Jasper. You should call Shannon and let her tell you the story.

He looks so cute and fluffy! I think he'll be the main attraction once we all get to Kansas. That or your new car. :-)
Here's hoping that the bunny is still alive when we get there. We (my sisters and I) don't have a good track record with bunnies.
And just our luck, he'll be alive when we get there and the kids will do him in.
"Easy Lennny" (from "Of Mice and Men").
Dad - I've been to TSC before! They have good art supplies.
Megan - Jasper is WAY cooler than the orange car.
Kierstyn - This bunny isn't defective, he'll be alive.
Congratulations on the new addition. We wish him long life and good health. So, Marlon, how it feel not to be the only male in the house?
