This is a new T-shirt I got for my birthday from my friends at work. It's the result of some practical jokes plus being in the aviation business in Kansas. Any way, it was both funny and appropriate to get this shirt. I also got a gift card to Red Robin hamburger restaurant which we enjoyed this afternoon after church.
Now for the really exciting stuff! Maryanne and I finished our bedroom by putting up our new ceiling fan. We had also bought a ceiling medallion for another color accent. I'm really pleased with the way it looks and the new fan and light are on a remote, so that's fun and easy too.
So, since I was already popping circuit breakers and cheating death by electrocution, I also put up a new light fixture over our breakfast nook with a dimmer switch.
Success!
So we had quite a fun weekend continuing our adventures in home improvements!

Looks really great! Warning though: Don't lose the remote to your fan/light. It'll never work the same without it and costs more than the fan did to replace just the remote. Just so ya know!
But it looks pretty good. So, when you coming to do my garage door opener?!?!?
